Steven Jackson is back! SJax may have been on a play count on Sunday, but he did it all. Before leaving the game in the 4th quarter, Jackson put up 100 yards, scored a rushing TD, threw a TD pass, and succeeded on a 2 point conversion to help lead the Rams to their 1st win of the season.

Week 10 is over and in the books. We've compiled and wrapped up the week with our weekly NFL Top Performers column. See below for compiled stats and in-depth analysis...and check back each Tuesday as we'll continue to break down the stars all season long!

QUARTERBACKS

In a very solid effort, Donovan McNabb silenced some of his recent critics with a huge win over the Washington Redskins...McNabb threw for a whopping 4 TDs in the game. Tony Romo had some scary similar numbers to McNabb (without the rushing yards) in the Dallas win over the Giants. Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers just keep on giving ...the Ironman threw for 351 yards and 3 TDs to move the Pack to 8-1. Big Ben Roethlisberger ran for a 30 yard TD and threw for 2 others as the Steelers barely escaped with a win over the Cleveland Browns. Kurt Warner shook off last week's rust and threw for over 250 with 3 TDs (2 of the scores to Larry Fitzgerald). Peyton Manning and the Colts were missing 3 of their top 4 receivers in rainy San Diego (with only 17 players dressed on offense)...Manning had some nice positive stats (328 passing yards and a couple scores), but he also threw 6 (SIX) interceptions and suffered a loss due to 2 missed field goals by kicker Adam Vinatieri. Jason Campbell threw 3 TDs in the loss to the Eagles. Marc Bulger looked like the Bulger of old in an impressive effort for the Rams...Bulger completed 27 of 33 for 300+ yards and 2 scores in St. Louis' first win of the season. Jon Kitna, Matt Hasselbeck, and Drew Brees all tossed for nearly 300 yards and a couple scores each in week 10. With just 16 completions and 123 passing yards against a formidable Steeler D, Derek Anderson threw for 3 TDs and a near win over the Iron Curtain before losing the battle down the stretch.

RUNNING BACKS

Brian Westbrook is one of the most consistent and best all-around players in the game...Westy put together 183 dual-purpose yards and 3 TDs in the Philly win over the Skins. Finally,...Steven Jackson proved he's back to stay and capable of the high expectations placed upon him in preseason - SJax busted for 100 total yards, a rushing TD, and a passing TD while on a play count for the Rams. Most wrote off Warrick Dunn a long time ago...but Dunn was the Energizer Bunny in week 10 with 140 total yards and a TD for the Falcons over the falling Panthers. Ryan Grant proved he's not a "one-week-wonder" with a huge effort for the 8-1 Green Bay Packers. Selvin Young may have shown a glimpse of things to come when Travis Henry is eventually suspended for drugs. Maurice Jones-Drew has been up and down this season...week 10 was one of those "up" weeks for MJD and the Jaguars. Shaun Alexander didn't dress for the Seahawks on MNF - and Maurice Morris filled in nicely for Seattle with over 100 total yards and a TD. LaDainian Tomlinson was well below (his) average for the second straight week. Cedic Benson had exact number to LT, but for Benson those numbers were a triumph. Clinton Portis touched the ball 34 times for 157 yards in a losing effort for Washington. The Bills were unable to stop Jesse Chatman for the Fins and barely escaped Miami with a win. Marshawn Lynch helped Buffalo get the win, but had just average numbers. Get this...Greg Jones had 3 carries for 1 (ONE) yard and one reception for 2 yards (that's 4 touches for 3 yards), but was certainly efficient with 2 touchdowns. Willie Parker, Brandon Jacobs, and Justin Fargas all put up over 100 total yards, but each was held out of the endzone.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Terrell Owens seems to love facing foes from the same division (esp. NYG and Philly)...after a nice game against the Eagles last week, Owens responded with 125 yards and 2 TDs against the Giants. James Thrash is a player that hasn't shown up on fantasy rosters for a couple of years, but the throwback awoke and scored 2 TDs in week 10. Reggie Wayne was Indy's only recognizable wide receiver on Sunday against the Chargers...Wayne responded with 10 catches for 140 yards and a TD in the last second loss to San Diego on the road. Larry Fitzgerald finally put up some decent stats with 2 TDs. Wonder why I continue to steer away from Packer RBs and WRs?...because guys like Ruvell Martin make totally unforeseen appearances and produce big numbers - Martin caught 2 TDs from Favre on Sunday. Like Fitzgerald, Roy Williams also stepped up and produced 2 TDs for his impatient fantasy owners. Deion Branch was again inactive this week...and D.J. Hackett produced 101 receiving yards and a TD in his absence. Hines Ward had another nice week for the Steelers. Former teammates Justin Gage (Titans) and Bernard Berrian (Bears) each had around 90 yards and a score apiece for their respective teams in week 10. Marques Colston, Torry Holt, Mark Clayton, and Dwayne Bowe each had 100+ receiving yards without a score.

TIGHT ENDS

Jeremy Shockey has been quietly effective this season...but Shockey made some noise this week with 12 (TWELVE) grabs for 129 yards and a TD against the Cowboys. Leonard Pope has tremendous size and talent - Pope showed his skills in his biggest game as a Cardinal with a couple of TDs from quarterback Kurt Warner. Heath Miller seems like he's getting better every week. L.J. Smith is finally back in the game and producing. Kellen Winslow is the second best tight end in football (behind Antonio Gates). Randy McMichael got into the act for the Rams with a TD on Sunday. Alge Crumpler recovered enough to play and helped the Falcons get their 3rd victory of the season. Eric Johnson caught 3 balls in week 10...one of them a touchdown.

News and Notes - The Indianapolis Colts are arguably the most banged up team in the NFL (especially in the passing game) and are now in danger of losing their division lead if they suffer a 3rd straight loss in week 11...To compound Indy's situation (already without 3 of their top 4 receivers and their left guard), top DL Dwight Freeney will be out for several weeks with a foot injury suffered in week 10 - the Colts grabbed DL Simeon Rice off of waivers on Monday to potentially ease the pain...Veteran RB Shaun Alexander did not dress for MNF and the Seahawks looked better than they have all season with Alex on the bench (of course the fact that they were facing the slumping Niners may have helped)...Bengals WR Chris Henry played very well in his first game of 2007, but all of the Cincy scoring came from the leg of kicker Shayne Graham (5 field goals)...Priest Holmes started off strong for the Chiefs while replacing Larry Johnson, but slowed down in the second half - Johnson has also been ruled out of week 11...Speaking of Johnsons, Andre Johnson is expected to return for week 11 (with QB Matt Schaub)...Top running back (and rookie) Adrian Peterson left Sunday's game with a knee injury - the MRI on Monday showed damage to his LCL and will result in Peterson's benching for at least several games (although Vike's trainer Eric Sugarman is certain that Peterson will play again in 2007)...Brian Griese had to leave the game Sunday due to an injury and was replaced by Rex Grossman - the Bears' week 11 starter has yet to be determined...J.P. Losman wasn't exactly sharp in an great matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday...KC quarterback Damon Huard has been benched and will be replaced in the Chief offense with Brodie Croyle...Plaxico Burress tweaked his ankle in Sunday's game and commented that it felt worse than it has all season...Javon Walker has a very remote chance of playing in week 11...Coach Tony Dungy said again that Marvin Harrison could have played had Sunday's game against the Chargers been a playoff game (Dungy says that every week) - just maybe if Harrison would have played the last two weeks, the Colts wouldn't have to go through New England this post-season
