Fantasy Golf Rankings for the WGC Bridgestone

Rory McIlroy is coming off a big win at The Open Championship and remains the favorite at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational.

1. Rory McIlroy [YAHOO CLASS B]

McIlroy is coming off a victory at the Open Championship, his third major since 2011. He's competed at Firestone five times since 2009, recording three consecutive finishes inside the Top 10 from 2010-12. McIlroy finished T27 last year but was sitting T17 after three rounds.

2. Adam Scott [YAHOO CLASS A]

Since winning at Colonial, Scott has finished T4 at the Memorial, T9 at the U.S. Open and T5 at the British. He's played Firestone each season dating back to 2003, claiming a wire-to-wire victory in 2011. Last year, Scott overcame a slow start to finish inside the Top 15.

3. Jim Furyk [YAHOO CLASS B]

Over his last four starts, Furyk has finished inside the Top 20 each time out with a solo fourth at the Open Championship and a runner-up performance last week at the Canadian Open. He'll return to Firestone with three finishes inside the Top 10 over the last four years, highlighted by a second share of second in 2012.

4. Rickie Fowler [YAHOO CLASS A]

Since missing two consecutive cuts, Fowler has finished T2 at the U.S. Open, T8 at the Scottish Open and T2 at the British. Fowler earned a share of second at Firestone in 2011, struggled mightily in 2012 and blew a possible Top 10 last year.

5. Tiger Woods [YAHOO CLASS A]

Based on this season's performance there's no reason to believe in Woods this week. However, this is Firestone where Tiger has won nine times in 14 starts, including last year.

6. Henrik Stenson [YAHOO CLASS A]

In between falling outside of the Top 30 at THE PLAYERS and the Open Championship, Stenson picked up four consecutive finishes of seventh or better, three coming on the European Tour. Last year, Stenson finished T2 at Firestone, his first appearance at the site since 2010.

7. Keegan Bradley [YAHOO CLASS B]

In his last two starts, Bradley has finished T4 at the Greenbrier and T19 at the Open Championship. He's been extremely sharp at Firestone in three career starts, winning in 2012 and earning a share of second last season.

8. Justin Rose [YAHOO CLASS B]

After winning at Congressional and the Scottish Open, Rose's T23 at the British was quite disappointing. He has a good chance to rebound at Firestone thanks to three finishes inside the Top 20 over the last four years, highlighted by a T5 in 2012.

9. Jordan Spieth [YAHOO CLASS B]

Spieth is making his first career start at Firestone. His T36 at the Open Championship, ending a streak of five consecutive finishes of 19th or better. In 19 stroke play events this season, Spieth has only finished outside of the Top 20 five times.

10. Sergio Garcia [YAHOO CLASS C]

Garcia has played Firestone a lot, 12 times since 1999, but hasn't recorded a Top 20 since 2007. However, over his last three starts he's finished T2 at TPC River Highlands, T12 at the BMW International Open and T2 at the Open Championship.
